China IPPR International Engineering Co, a subsidiary of Sinomach, has won a bid to provide a feasibility research study on smart education and digital schooling in Serbia.
The project is aimed at providing primary and middle schools in Serbia with comprehensive solutions for the development of smart education, including the building of a smart education platform, hardware infrastructure for a digital center and a digital system for 300 schools.

This is the first time China will assist another country in building its own state-level smart education platform and digital system for primary and middle schools.
Upon completion, the project will promote the further development of digital education in Serbia, better allocate finite educational resources between urban and rural areas, bridge the gap between different regions, bolster the digital skills and employment competitiveness of young citizens, advance the institutional reform of the educational sector and achieve the digitalization of local education.
Over the past 6 decades, China IPPR International Engineering has engaged in the construction of about 300 projects in nearly 70 countries, including healthcare, sports and residential buildings, airports, schools and industrial complexes.
